Welcome to Curvingo! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Curvingo website and services (the "Service"), an interactive learning platform. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Curvingo, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Intellectual Property

All content on Curvingo, including text, graphics, interactive elements, and pedagogical designs, is the property of Curvingo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may use the content for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. Open-source software and assets used in Curvingo remain under their own licenses, and the restrictions in this section do not apply to them.

Parts of Curvingo's software, icons, and UI elements come from Mathigon Studio, © 2018–2022 Amplify Education, Inc. and its licensors. Mathigon Studio's source code is used under the MIT License. Its icons and UI elements, which Curvingo has adapted, are used under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license. See the Mathigon Studio License for the full terms.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.

You can delete your account at any time in your Account Settings. Deletion takes effect after a 7-day grace period during which you can undo it. After that, your profile, learning progress and AI chat history are permanently erased, any Premium subscription ends at the close of its current billing period, and books you have bought are lost. Accounts that have not been used for 4 years are deleted automatically. Our Privacy Policy describes this in detail.

4. Classes and Teacher Accounts

Teachers can create a free teacher account, make classes, and share a class code with their students. Teacher and student accounts are separate: a student account cannot be turned into a teacher account, so a teacher signs up with their own email address. Students who join a class let its teacher see their name, their progress and their time in that class's courses, as our Privacy Policy explains.

• Access: A teacher account does not unlock paid courses, and joining a class does not change what a student can open. Every student keeps their own free lessons, books and subscription.
• Teachers' responsibilities: Share class codes only with your own students, and use what you see about them only to support their learning. Do not publish it, pass it on, or use it for any other purpose.
• Students' choice: Joining a class is optional. A student can leave a class at any time from their dashboard, and a teacher can remove a student or delete a class at any time. Each student uses their own account.
• Progress and time figures: They are a guide to how far a student has got, not an exam record. Time only counts while a student has a section open and is active on it, so it is an estimate.
• Limits: A teacher can have up to 50 classes, and a class up to 200 students.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Curvingo offers both free and premium services:

• Free Tier: Many of our interactive courses are available for free to all registered users.
• Premium Subscription (₹1,999/month): We offer a monthly subscription plan that provides:
  • Full access to all courses.
  • More time with our AI tutor Sina than the free plan.
• Books (one-time purchases): A book unlocks a set of courses for as long as your account exists. Books do not include Sina, and they are lost, without a refund, if you delete your account.
• Billing: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. You can cancel at any time by emailing contact@curvingo.com from your account's email address, or by deleting your account in your Account Settings. Either way the subscription ends at the close of the billing period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.
• Refunds: We offer a 3-day money-back guarantee. You are eligible for a full refund if requested within 3 days of your initial subscription purchase. After this period, fees are non-refundable.

6. AI Assistant (Sina)

Sina is an AI-powered tutor designed to help you learn. While we strive for accuracy, the AI may occasionally provide incorrect information. Curvingo is not responsible for any inaccuracies in the AI's responses. Use of the AI assistant is subject to our fair use guidelines.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Use automated systems (robots, scrapers) to extract data from the platform.
• Reproduce or redistribute our content without explicit permission.
• Use a teacher account or class code to collect information about students who are not yours.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Curvingo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curvingo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the Service.
